Join as Farm Volunteer

Are you looking to work with nature, interested to know more about how food grows in fields?

We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty—someone ready to work in the fields and support a variety of farm activities.

At HOOGA, our mission is rooted in conserving, preserving, and multiplying native, non-GMO seeds that are on the verge of extinction. Seeds are the most critical input in agriculture, yet farmers today are losing their fundamental right to them. We strongly believe that together, we can create a lasting impact on seed sovereignty, revive lost varieties, and grow more nutritious food for the future.

We’re seeking individuals who already have a passion for nature, ecology, and the environment. Strong people skills are equally important, as the role involves engaging with the local community and building meaningful relationships. Formal qualifications are not required, but any relevant knowledge or experience will be a plus.

Basic English is essential, along with Tamil.

We also welcome you to share the different types of support you can offer us—whether it’s hands-on farming, community outreach, documentation, or other skills.

If this opportunity excites you, please send us a cover letter explaining why you’d like to volunteer with us, along with your CV, to hoogaseeds@gmail.com. Use the subject line:
“Farm Volunteer Application – Your Name and CV”
(For example: “Farm Volunteer Application – Robin and CV”)

If not, you can also fill out the form below and let us know how you’d like to be involved.

Feel free to share this with like-minded friends who would love to be part of our journey. Cheers!
